Chris David won a battle with Bay Area favorite Joey Bareng in front of a loud and excited crowd at the Kezar Pavilion in San Francisco, California. Bareng came out strong in the 1st round taking David to the ground, maintaining good position and pounded on him for the first two and a half minutes. David was able to reverse position on Bareng to finish the round on top landing hard blows to the face. In the 2nd round, David ran across the cage landing a flying knee to the head of Bareng. David quickly mounted Bareng beating on him with vicious punches and elbows to the head. In the 3rd round, Bareng was looking good landing a strong uppercut, but David was able gain control on the way to the mat. David started landing vicious lefts to the head of Bareng forcing the referee to halt the match at 1:17 of the round. |
